IN MEMORIUM

Rick worked through the Samaritan (now Banner) Health Sleep in the Respiratory Care and Sleep Departments.  Many hours worked with Rick found him to be a detail oriented, patient, and a friendly Sleep Technologist.  Rick worked many years at the Good Samaritan Sleep Center before moving up to Payson with his family to run the Payson Sleep Center.  Rick was an excellent teacher and a great resource on sleep medicine.  Rick is survived by his family at the Payson Sleep Center and is greatly missed.  Rick had many friends including this author who find Ricks absence still heartbreaking today.

David was born in Saginaw, Michigan, and spent most of his early life as an Arabian Horse trainer.  He Moved to Ocala, Florida working for Rohara Arabians and eventually relocated to Phoenix to train for Chauncey Arabians.  David left the horse industry in 1998 and pursued a career in sleep following his partner and sister-in-law.  David was well respected in the Sleep community, not only for his expertise, but for his humor and respect for those around him. David attended many of the AZSS annual conferences and had many friends in the Arizona Sleep Community.

Dave passed April 21st, 2016 and his memory is a gift.

Jana Gibson was a new technologist in training at Valley Sleep Center - Arrowhead.  Jana had completed her CPSGT and was working towards her hours as an RPSGT.  Shortly before meeting this goal she achieved another goal of hers; home ownership.  Jana was adored by her peers and worked hard for her patients.  Jana was missed at work one night and found to have passed away at her new home.  Her Valley Sleep Center team miss her greatly and the patients she would have served have missed out on working with such a fantastic person and Sleep Technologist.
